This pair is dedicated to my lola (grandmother) Elena Maccay.
She was the first female politician of her town to fight for free education and was among those who fought against a corrupt government. This amazing woman has helped many out of homelessness.
When I was a kid she used take me to her campaigns. She’d always say if you want to succeed, you have to learn how to go against the grain being a woman in a man’s world.
Thank you Lola for influencing me to be who I am today.
